Bio Suisse were set up as a collaborated organisation in 1981. They have information about how to source organic produce, free range eggs and produce such as cheese (Kase) and milk made on small farms and smallholdings in each region.
Moreover, the Bio Suisse BUD label on products ensures they are produced in a place where certain standards are met such as: no GM crops, organic, ethically farmed livestock, no harmful pesticides on the crops or wholly produced in Switzerland.
