So a really quick and easy pizza dough recipe here-we have practised it a bit and often use it to make pizzas for a night in with a film! Also we usually make the full amount of dough then freeze half of it. When needed you can get second half out of freezer and either make more pizzas for when your too tired to start from scratch or make tasty dough balls to dip in garlic butter yum!
-500g white flour (bread flour if you have)
-1 tsp salt
-1 tsp normal white caster sugar
-2 x 7g of dried yeast packets or half a cube of fresh yeast
-3 tbsps of olive oil
-warm water in a jug (ready to pour)
1.put flour, sugar, salt, olive oil and yeast in a big bowl. Add the water gradually while mixing with hands or a wooden spoon. Add more water until the dough starts to form-if you put to much in just add more flour as needed along the way!
2. once it has formed into a rough ball shape whack it out onto a clean, floured surface (dont forget to flour your hands too!) then knead it for approx 10 mins.
3.put kneaded dough back in the bowl and cover bowl with cling film. Leave to rise for approx 1 hour or until the dough has doubled in size.
4.Return to dough and give it a quick overall knead, and its ready to use!
Make the dough into pizza shapes and put on an oiled baking tray, add toppings of choice and pop in oven at 180’c for approx 25-30 mins and voila tasty pizza!
