Recycled Bantam house

Dad has been busy making the new Bantam house for our 4 bantams. He has been using second hand wood so cheaper and making them in the shed on the farm. There will be a ramp door flap at the pop hole. Additionally it will be painted up and will have a protective roof added.

At the back there is a flap which enables you to clean the nest boxes and reach for fresh eggs! There are two nest boxes for the bantams to choose from too. Lastly, Dad  used some old solid branches to make roosts for the bantams to use in the house.

Overall, I reckon father did a grand job – luckily his woodwork skills are better than mine! : ) I think the bantams will love exploring their new home!
