A brown envelope appeared this week – containing 3 fresh smelling handmade soaps!
Cyril’s Soap Shed make all their own soaps in the New Forest, UK using the fresh milk from their herd of goats. I tried the 3 interesting combinations of:
- Lemongrass and Chamomile
- Honey, Oats and Goats!
- Orange and Cinnamon
I like these soaps as they are handmade, using natural ingredients and great for helping and calming skin conditions. For example, goats milk is renowned for helping to calm eczema. Sometimes I can find soap too harsh on my skin but these bars were great for washing hands but also for showers too. I love the fresh smell of all three soaps and they were a great addition to the bathroom – even made a good talking point when visitors liked the smell of the cinnamon one they used!
Here is a more detailed review I have previously done for Cyril’s Soap Shed: https://thegoodlifeinpractice.wordpress.com/2012/12/22/review-of-rose-and-geranium-soap-made-by-cyrils-soap-shed/
In conclusion, I really enjoyed reviewing these soaps and love the fact that they are made using goats milk from the New Forest herd.
